9-10:30, 1:30-3:00, 3:30-5:00 After school classes are reserved for 6 and older

Mrs. Hammond approaches her classes with an enthusiasm for all things art! Students will

explore a variety of mediums, including clay, painting, collage, printmaking, photography, and

much more. The projects have evolved through the eyes of the little artists over the years.

Some favorites are Ugly Fish, Funky Clay Faces, African pinch pots, and 3-D Robots. Art history is

sprinkled throughout our curriculum, and students are inspired by the exciting works of famous

artists. Wonderful literature is utilized as a teaching tool and an artistic prompt. Students are

encouraged to take risks with their work and discover their individual creativity. At FYI, we let

our imaginations run wild!
